新国大重庆研究院将定期筛选、组织新国大的优秀学生来渝进行经济、文化等方面的短期体验。项目通过安排营员与地方政府官员的对话、到当地企业的参访、与国内高校师生的交流、与在华新国大校友的座谈等多种形式，为国际学生提供深入了解中国西部城市重庆及其未来发展的平台，同时也为本地高校学生开拓国际视野，增进对世界的了解与认知创造机会。
