"3+1+1" Programme Review in September 2023
2023-09-27
Time flies. The second batch of CEG311 students have been with NUSRI-CQ for a month. At NUSRI-CQ, we believe that our future-ready classroom shall always put life purpose, positivity, wellbeing and happiness at the epicenter of our student education.

5 Words of Expectations
"Innovation, Resilience, Excellence, Respect and Integrity" are the values of NUS and also the expectations set to our students from Ms. Vivian Fu, Associate Director (Education) of NUSRI-CQ. During the orientation session, Ms. Fu explained the significance of these values and how important they are to the development of a student and an NUS community member in the long way. She expressed her encouragement to all students in their quest ahead.

80 Hours’ English Learning
In September, the students had gone through a specially designed intensive English language course. It covers from professional terms and expressions to scientific writing. By way of group discussions, role-play and presentations, students have improved their all-round English skills. The course prepares all students for the upcoming bridging courses to be taught by faculty members from NUS-ECE.

1 Dinner of Reunion
To strengthen emotional bonds among students and convey warmth and care from NUSRI-CQ, the institute invited the cohort of students to celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival with hot pot and mooncakes. While enjoying delicious food, the students shared their experiences and interesting stories in the past few days.
