Lui Tuck Yew, Singapore Ambassador to China and his delegation paid a visit to NUSRI-CQ in the afternoon of July 22, accompanied by Chen Ziqin, Consul General of Singapore Consulate General in Chengdu. Professor Lv Li, Executive Vice President of NUSRI-CQ, Ms. Fu Wei and Ms. Wang Jia, Vice Presidents attended the reception.

Professor Lv Li welcomed Lui Tuck Yew and his delegation, and President Fu Wei introduced to them the basic situation of the NUSRI-CQ and the progress in Industry-University-Research. Lui Tuck Yew affirmed the achievements of the NUSRI-CQ.

Lui Tuck Yew walked into the Advanced Materials Laboratory to have in-depth exchanges with researchers, and cared about their work and life. Later, Lui Tuck Yew paid a visit to BLOCK71 Chongqing- International Science and Technology Industry Center to learn about the development of Singapore's science and technology innovation enterprises in Chongqing.

Lui Tuck Yew said that he was very pleased to visit the NUSRI-CQ and was very delighted with the achievements made by the NUSRI-CQ. He expressed high hopes and confidence for the future development of the NUSRI-CQ and hoped that the NUSRI-CQ would contribute to the connectivity of science, technology, education and industry between China and Singapore.
